It also includes AMDIS (gc/ms Automated Deconvolution and Identification System) and MS Interpeter (spectrum/structure correlation) and Lib2NIST (text file to NIST library conversion) programs.

It also contains a small demonstration library and will read any library in NIST EI or Peptide format, including those here . To use, these library folders must be copied to the folder containing the main program (nistms.exe), which is located in the mssearch folder.

The current version – NIST 26, contains the complete library and many new features, including the hybrid search, enhanced name display and full gc/ms chromatographic analysis through AMDIS.
