Free EI Libraries
NIST Plant Unconfirmed EI Library
Plant EI library composed of spectra of 529 phytocompounds not in the main NIST library. These were derived from GC/MS analysis of a variety of plants and confirmed by literature publications which are cited in the spectra. Publications generally based identification on NMR determinations after chromatographic separation. Measured and compiled by Rabe Andriamharavo in the NIST MS Data Center
Recurrent Unidentified Spectral Libraries
PedUrine: A set of 200+ spectra from a large set of pediatric urine samples. All of these samples were derivatized with TMS after forming the ethyloxime for the non-acid carbonyl groups; the majority of this data was taken on 5% arylene-polysiloxane columns and confirmed on 5% diphenyl-polysiloxane columns.
EssOil: A set of 1000+ spectra derived from a large set of essential oils (both commercial and laboratory distilled), solvent extract of various plant materials (leaves, flowers, roots, etc.). Most of these data were not derivatized, but there is a small set of spectra derived from the TMS derivatized samples. Most of this data was taken on 5% arylene-polysiloxane columns.
Food: A set of 650+ spectra extracted from a set of dried food material. Some of these spectra have tentative identifications. These experiments were done with methoximation and TMS derivatization. More details here.
Polymer Pyrolysis Search
Library and dedicated software
The NIST Polymer Pyrolysis Search software and library is an R Shiny search app and associated library. This app is for the identification of polymers by pyrolysis breakdown products.
