The IARPA Proteos Human Skin and Hair Library
Peptide Consensus HCD Spectral Library (Oct. 01, 2021)
This consensus spectral library was derived from 629 raw data files generated on Orbitrap mass spectrometers, which include
- 536 DDA and PRM raw data files for skin samples from the IARPA Proteos Program’s phases 1, 2, and 3. Data were generated by Signature Science and University of Washington using skin samples provided by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. - 19 DDA raw data files from LCMS analyses of Proteos skin samples at the Mass Spectrometry Data Center, NIST
- 74 DDA raw data files from LCMS analyses of human hair samples at the Mass Spectrometry Data Center, NIST
The library contains 27,971 consensus spectra that correspond to 20,131 distinct peptide sequences including 239 GVPs. The library was divided into three sub-libraries based on spectral quality score, number of miscleavages in a peptide sequence, and whether a peptide is tryptic or semi-tryptic.
