MS_Piano for Annotating Peaks in Mass Spectra of Peptides and N-Glycopeptides

MS_Piano (Mass Spectrum Peptide Annotation) software was developed for fast and reliable annotation of peaks in a collision induced dissociation (CID) tandem mass spectrum of a peptide or N-glycopeptide for a given peptide sequence, charge state, and optional modifications. This software annotates each peak in the spectrum with possible product ion(s) and the mass difference between the measured and theoretical m/z values. The software is freely available in .exe and .dll (peptide only) formats for the Windows operating system.

If you use MS_Paino in your data analysis, please cite the following paper:

!!! Important: If you would like to view mass spectra annotated with MS_Piano in the MS Search browser, please search your computer with “MS Search”. If you have MS Search software already installed on your computer and you use it for library searching, do NOT install it again. Otherwise, it will change your library searching settings and results.
